1. What we collect
Sentry Checkpoint collects the following personal information for site access management purposes: full name, company or role, email address (optional), phone number (optional), and a reference photograph. We also collect a timestamped log of site entry and exit events, and drug and alcohol test results where applicable.
2. Why we collect it
This information is collected to manage site access, verify worker identity, support Health & Safety compliance under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 (NZ), and provide an auditable record of site activity for principal contractors.
3. How we store it
All data is stored securely on Supabase cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. Access is controlled by role-based permissions. Photographs are stored in private cloud storage and are not publicly accessible.
4. Who can access it
Data is only accessible to authorised guard accounts assigned to the relevant site, and to Sentry Tracking Solutions Ltd system administrators for support purposes. Data is not shared with third parties except as required by law.
5. How long we keep it
Site access logs and worker records are retained for the duration of the site engagement plus 7 years, in accordance with standard H&S record-keeping requirements. When a site is closed and deleted by the administrator, all associated personal data is permanently removed from our systems.
6. Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 (NZ), you have the right to access and correct personal information we hold about you. To make a request, contact us at admin@sentrytrackingsolutions.co.nz.
